Cost Engineering Event 2011
Cost Engineering as an added Value
On April 13 and 14 2011 Cost Engineering will be hosting the 3rd edition of one of the most important cost engineering events in Europe. Under the title of “Cost engineering as an added value” we would like to share our knowledge and expertise with you during workshops, presentations, showcases and socializing diners at the premises of the beautiful event location atHotel Ara on the banks of the Old Maas River. A great location to exchange ideas and network with peers.
The field of cost engineering is full of debates on best practices and differing definitions. To show the depth and the width of the field, the event will cover a broad range of topics such as creating early type estimates, performing cost management in complex projects, scheduling, risk analysis, challenges in estimating turnaround work, estimating of CAPEX and OPEX, managing maintenance work based on unit-rate contracts, parametric models for process equipment, software tooling, project cost metrics, reporting for management and much more. All Topics which have one thing in common: how are they of added value to the daily business?
The Cost Engineering event is an international event and considered as the leading event within Europe in the field of cost engineering. Cost Engineering will invite international experts to share their visions at the Cost Engineering Event 2011. Speakers coming from well-respected cost engineering organizations such as AACE, DACE and ACostE. To name a few John Hollman, Larry Dysert and Maarten Vrijland. Speakers who have already contributed immensely to the field of cost engineering and published numerous papers. But we value practical knowledge as well. Therefore we have also invited speakers from industry leading companies. Reason enough to join us at the event!
In the true spirit of Cost Engineering, the event will not only want to make its visitors think. Cost Engineering wants to give the attendees practical knowledge, tools and approaches they could use the day after the Cost Engineering Event. The Cost Engineering Event also will include parallel sessions with interesting lectures, practical showcases as well as presentations on developing, analyzing and applying cost engineering data. This means that whatever you are interested in there is always a presentation you can attend. Moreover, since cost engineering is a discipline which can be applied in so many industries, we will invite speakers from different industries (oil and gas, mining, aerospace, etc.) This will promote exchanging fresh and new ideas to be applied within your own industry.
